Wednesday Twilight Golf
Twilight Golf is a scramble format we play on Wednesday afternoon, all year round. This game is open to everyone that plays golf. We have men and women, seasoned golfers and beginners, with every level of golfer between. We encourage all golfers to join us for a fun afternoon of ONLY nine holes of golf. In winter months we have sign in at 1:30 pm and our shotgun starts at 2:00 pm. After day light savings time change we go to 2:30 pm check in and 3:00 pm Shotgun. Cost is $2.00 with also a Closest to the Pin for $.50, if you want to be in that pot. Closest to the Pin is for Ladies and one for the Men. We always welcome family and friends to join you to play in this Scramble game. But, please remember that you have to pay the fee of $10.00 for your guest.
Brenda Vatnsdal is our starter most of the time. She likes to make teams of four, but sometimes it does go to teams of five players. In the last year our group has grown to over 24 players every week. Our pay outs are 2 places if we only have 5 teams and it goes to 3 places if we have more than 6 teams. We also do card offs for ties, so always a First Place, Second Place and sometimes Third Place, depending on how many players we have.
We meet back at the Patio for the results of the game and pay outs for 1st , 2nd and Closest to the Pin. The 19th Hole Beer and Wine is always open to us.
